My family is the crabbiest one I know. Now I'm not referring to our dispositions—although we can be snappish—but to our enduring love for fresh crab meat. From the time I could chew, I've been eating steamed crab on a monthly, sometimes weekly, basis. My parents would bring them home from local Chinese markets, steam them, then we'd convene at the table to extract every scrap of sweet meat with our fingers. It was slow and drippy labor, but oh, it was worth it. Since then, I've tried frozen and canned crab, but no go. Everything tasted fake, flavorless, or salty. Until this summer, when I had a forkful of Miller's Select, plain on a cracker. The first mouthful brought me back to my family’s kitchen table. I can't claim that it will bring you there—and I can't say that you’d want to go—but it will make you and your taste buds very happy.

Just a short note to tell you – Sea Fare – Miller’s Select Imperial Lump Crabmeat – is the best crabmeat we have ever had. We have purchased your Lump Crab for over 4 years from 1998-2001; I purchased 56 cases. This year I have ordered 10 cases so far.

Each year I give so many cases for Christmas gifts. When I am invited to a home I take a can or two for a thank you. (I think that is why we are invited so often). I also give as thank you gifts to dressmakers, hairstylists, etc. and I really think this is why they give me special attention.

Do you know – a shell has never been found in any of the cans we used (we use a lot of crab because we entertain constantly at home) and I have asked everyone else – and they agree – no shells – so keep up the good work because I want to keep purchasing your lump crab.

I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you that I took some of the samples home to test. I made crab cakes and I must say your product is the best I have ever tasted. I have tried some other brands in the past and they were all bad, so I just gave up on preparing anything with crab. As a Food TV fan I would see different recipes made with crab and with the cost of king crab legs being so pricey, I would be reluctant to use that as an ingredient. Now that has all changed.
